Useful Tips

• Metroidvania style: Some areas require specific abilities before you can enter. Once you have the right upgrade, the path forward becomes obvious.
• If you keep leaving and re-entering rooms trying to force progress, you may simply be missing the ability needed to cross that obstacle.
• If the early game feels too easy or slow, you’re likely still at the beginning.
• Geo loss on death: When you die, you leave behind all your money (called Geo) and you receive a debuff.
• If you die twice before getting your Geo back, you lose all of it.
• An NPC can help you recover your Geo without having to return to where you fell.
• You can attack upward and downward. To attack downward, you must jump while attacking.
• You can look up and down by holding the up or down button for a short moment.
• No one-hit kills: Nothing can kill you instantly as long as you’re at full health.
• Bench healing: Sitting heals you fully, removes extra health effects, saves your progress, updates the map, and sets your respawn location.
• Quitting saves: Leaving the game also saves your progress.



• Some enemies respawn after you return to a room a second time.
• Other enemies remain defeated until you sit at a bench.
• Hot springs: Standing still in hot springs restores your SOUL.



• If an item can be given to an NPC, it can only be used by giving it to that character—so don’t hoard it “for later.”
• You can find a lot of Geo throughout the world.
