VOEZ Introduction
VOEZ Follow Chelsea and her band as you play VOEZ on Android. Tap, hold, slide, and swipe falling notes at the judgment line to hit Max Perfect, climb grades, and battle players worldwide.
VOEZ

VOEZ is a popular rhythm music game that lets you follow Chelsea and her bandmates as they bring VOEZ to life. Along the way, you’ll see their drive for music as they push through many challenges.
The core gameplay is straightforward: when notes reach the judgment line, you tap (or use other gestures) as precisely as you can. Depending on the note type, you’ll use tap, hold, slide, or swipe to earn higher results, including perfect clears. How well you time each note affects your score, and each note has its own accuracy window—so results can vary from note to note.
VOEZ focuses heavily on concentration and reaction speed, challenging you to improve while also letting you compare your performance with players around the world. The game is regularly updated with new free music and additional gameplay features to keep the experience fresh and more immersive.
How VOEZ Gameplay Works
Each level includes a black horizontal line near the bottom of the screen. Notes fall from the top toward this line. The line can shift left or right depending on the song and the difficulty you choose.
When a note reaches the judgment line, you must react based on that note’s type:
- Tap notes: tap them when they reach the horizontal line so they disappear.
- Hold notes: keep holding until the note finishes.
- Swipe notes: swipe in the required direction when the note hits the line.
- Slide notes: press and hold your finger on the horizontal line, then slide it to align with the next target note so it can disappear.
Scoring, Accuracy, Combos, and Titles
Your score depends on how accurately you hit each note. Every note is judged using one of the following accuracy ranks:
- Max Perfect
- Perfect
- OK
- Miss
Your overall performance also earns a letter grade:

- S: 950,000 points or when you receive a title
- A: 880,000 points
- B: 780,000 points
- C: any score below that
There’s also a combo counter that increases for each note you hit without missing.
- If you hit every note, you can earn the “Full Combo” title.
- If you hit every note with Perfect or Max Perfect, you can earn the “All Perfect” title.
Difficulty, Note Speed, and Levels
Each song offers three difficulty levels: Easy, Hard, and Special. Difficulty also comes with a numerical rating—higher numbers mean a harder track.
You can also choose how quickly the notes fall.
VOEZ currently includes 200+ songs across a wide range of genres, such as eurodance, synthpop, trance, electronic, pop, and more. The music is created by East Asian indie artists and composers from places including Hong Kong, China, Macau, Taiwan, South Korea, and Japan.

Useful Tips for VOEZ
Listen to the Music
Your experience may depend on your personal music taste, but the soundtrack is one of the game’s biggest strengths. Whether you love the songs or not, the music still matters a lot: in VOEZ, the rhythm helps guide you, and it can signal when the notes are about to hit the judgment line.
If you’re new to rhythm games, you might occasionally want to lower or disable the music, but it’s generally recommended to play with sound on—because rhythm games rely on timing.
How to Unlock More Songs
In VOEZ, songs function similarly to levels. In story mode, the game assigns you certain tracks at the beginning, but you can unlock additional songs as you keep playing.
The most effective way is to complete the songs/levels you already have.

You can also unlock songs by purchasing them with real money.
